Over 3 grand for the plane and they can't be bothered cutting out the gear hatch in factory??? I guess they leave it for those wanting to belly land a turbine 😅

For greater braking effect, two parachutes could be added!

You could have perhaps used the 90 degree angle adaptor for your Dremel to sand the latch area. Great video, and well described process as we have all come to expect.

You could make a video about the different fuel options for jets, the pros and cons of each, additives (e.g. algi prevention), maintenance, etc.

It's when watching things like this, I wish I was rich... Fantastic job on a fantastic RC of a legend...👌👏

Love it! My father flew the F4 off the KittyHawk during the Vietnam war. He flew many missions and fortunately survived them. VF114 Aardvarks.

My dad use to work at McDonald Douglas in St. Louis back in the day they built the F4 and F15

You can tell that’s not a real F4 by the lack of smoke from the engines. 🤣🤣🤣

Guess it is only a matter of time before someone builds a 1:1 scale RC jet, and an RC jet which can cross the sound barrier.

I just happened to come across this wonderful film of an RC aircraft that I could swear was the "real McCoy" so to speak. And that landing was simply superb. You have truly achieved a level of excellence that I never thought could be attained in an RC aircraft; and an F-4E phantom to boot! Kudos to all involved. Lastly a heartfelt thank you Jonathan!

I feel so glutonous! Mine had an 85 and I wouldn't have it any other way. Disclaimer: I fly in a 5k feet density altitude. But flying at sea level was even more fun! I subscribe to have and not need rather than need and not have.

I sent an e-mail to the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the address to this video suggesting they look into using these scale model ducted fan jets as unmanned drones for obvious reasons. If you can't get the real thing from the West you might as well improvise.

It's amazing that someone makes these real life-looking planes that actually fly! I can just imagine some unsuspecting person on the ground nearby the field saying 'hey, that looks kike a God-damn F-4!'

Just looking at this thing looks slippery and fast ! I remember my Habu 32 EDF was a monster to handle !

As beautiful as these units are NOTHING can make you feel like your actually flying one of these when you have FIRST PERSON VIEW Goggles................It is simply AMAZINGLY REALISTIC LIKE YOU ARE ACTUALLY IN AN F4 or in my case a F16 !

That is a beautiful plane. I was stationed on the FDR CVA42 from 1971 to 1973 as AIC and ASC in CIC. Then on the Coral Sea CVA 43. Still working in CIC as air strike controller and air intercept controller. Fun times in Viet Nam.

as a RC stunt pilot and heli mad i often wonder why people who fly jets like looking at little dots so far away from the flying field, i never can get my head around it. to me it's just a huge waste of money- however close up on the flying field that bird does look amazing
